E J Letherbarrow was killed when his Stirling BF456 AA-J crashed during the 10/04/1943 raid on Frankfurt.
BF456 was one of two No.75 Sqdn Stirlings lost on this operation. See: BF455. Airborne 0006 11th April 1943 from Newmarket. Cause of loss not established. Crashed at Steeg (or Stegg). All are buried in Rheinberg War Cemetery.
