Additional information: Brother Thomas Alban Sole is also listed on this memorial. Charles James Sole was an Able Seaman in the Royal Navy, in which he served from 1921 until 1928. Before this he had been a cabinet maker's apprentice. At the time of his death he lived at 6 Calthorpe Gardens and worked as a packer at a switchgear and equipment company. Charles died of a coronary occulsion and his death was reported by his sister Olive.
